Syracuse to host Buffalo during 2017-18 nonconference schedule

The Bulls finished 17-15 last season, including an 8-8 record overall on the road.

Syracuse will host Buffalo in the Carrier Dome during its 2017-18 nonconference slate. Geoff Nason of the Buffalo News first reported it on June 1 and SU Athletics made an official announcement June 20.

Syracuse has a 27-5 advantage in the series with Buffalo and has won 17 straight. They last met Dec. 30, 2001.

The Bulls finished last season 17-15, including an 11-7 mark in the Mid-American Conference and an 8-8 record overall on the road. Buffalo brings a young team with just one senior to Syracuse, and the team will try to overcome the loss of three of its top five scorers to graduation.
